In 2000, Fringe presidential/emperor candidate Mayor Vermin Supreme (Boot)
laughs as he is greeted by a political activist calling himself
"John McCain," at a town hall style meeting in Nashua, January 27. Supreme and his rivals for the Dental presidential nomination were in the final stretch of their campaigns leading up to New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation primary.
